He taught me about offensive game planning. He always encouraged me and expected new heights to be conquered. I am very grateful to be able to call him for advice anytime. He taught me what my receivers should be thinking and how to call my own plays from an early age. In the game that he told me, "Now we on the same page, Thor!" Everything took off from there. He always taught in a positive way and I always felt like it was me and him against the defense. He still teaches me. You may not think that you didn't do much because you're humble and busy in college and NFL football, but you've inspired me. If you could give advice to a youngster starting out that wants to be a quarterback, what would you tell them? "You can learn a lot from watching others play that position. I have spent countless hours studying Rhett Bomar highlight films, and some others, and each time I watch them, I see something (technique wise) that I didn't see before. Also, pick someone who is technically sound to watch." |
